英国的软件评级机构BBFC近日宣布修改过的《侠盗猎魔2》仍然无法通过审核，这也就意味着PSP版和Wii版的《侠盗猎魔2》仍然无法在英国地区正常发售。

　　对于此事，《侠盗猎魔2》的发行方Rockstar表示“我们希望BBFC能够给予《侠盗猎魔2》合适的评定等级”并表示成人既然可以接受恐怖电影，那么恐怖主题的视频游戏比如《侠盗猎魔2》也是合理的。

　　Rockstar的回应原文：

　　We are continuing to appeal the British Board of Film Classification's (BBFC) decision to deny the edited version of Manhunt 2 an 18+ certificate and thereby ban its release in the United Kingdom.

　　The changes necessary in order to publish the game in Britain are unacceptable to us and represent a setback for video games. The BBFC allows adults the freedom to decide for themselves when it comes to horror in movies and we think adults should be similarly allowed to decide for themselves when it comes to horror in video games, such as Manhunt 2.

　　《侠盗猎魔2》原计划于7月13日发售，但由于在评级问题方面遭到英国BBFC的拒绝，之后又在爱尔兰被禁，在美国得到AO评价。于是Rockstar对游戏进行了修改再次送审。
